I am an engineering scientist with extensive research and development experience in the fields of digital signal processing, biometrics, sensor networks, acoustics, optics and digital imaging.

I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2002. I have written an independent book titled Multirate Statistical Signal Processing and a chapter on distributed signal processing in the Embedded Systems Handbook. I have also authored or edited numerous scientific papers, technical standards and patents in the fields of digital signal processing and fingerprint recognition. I am a Senior Member of Institude of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and sit on numerous commitees associated with the International Commitee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) and the International Organization for Standards (ISO).

I am very interested in shooting sports, hunting and photography. I have created this website to communicate with those who share my interests in science, engineering, hunting and photography. I hope you enjoy it!
